we know that valentine's day can be a touchy subject, but the way we see it, it's a time to tell everyone you love just how much they mean to you. grandparents, parents, husbands, wives, kids, friends -- they're all part of this love-fest. at the rate we're going, our dog might even get a valentine. today kicks off a week of valentine's posts, showcasing some of our favorite cards & gift ideas.  today we're showing you some of our top picks for your special schmoopy.

the winter sale is here!

wow, where did december go? we had a great holiday season, and we are so very thankful that so many of you chose o'suzannah for your gifts. we loved being in on some secrets, knowing what husbands and wives, sisters, mothers and daughters, and friends were wrapping up for each other. it's just the best!

but now that we're in the new year, it's time for the annual winter sale! gotta make room for all our fresh finds. let me tell you, friends, there is SO much goodness in this sale! here are the details:

winter sale starts wednesday, january 7 at 10:00 a.m.

don't worry if you can't make it in on wednesday; the sale will continue for a few weeks for sure.

new from mincing mockingbird

matt adrian of mincing mockingbird has been making all sorts of new goods, and we love having a little bit of everything he does in the shop. he's recently started working with greenbox art to reproduce his paintings on stretched canvases.

and he just revamped his own process, creating this new wings on wood series. with these he is printing directly onto the wood surface, and all can be displayed on a table or hung.

one of our hands-down favorite calendars for 2015 is "a year of troubled birds," featuring illustrations of matt's paintings paired with speech bubbles for the birds.

 

if you want something a little less, ahem, snarky, the classic calendar is lovely and has a write-on grid for scheduling.
