summer sale scoop!

hello, hello, and happy summer!

we can’t believe it’s already july?! next thing you know we will be buying packs of pencils and planners for 2017. before that though, we need to have our BIG JUICY SUMMER SALE!!!

here’s the scoop:

our summer sale will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. on tuesday, july 5.
(we will be closed on monday, july 4 for independence day!)

the sale will likely run through july and into august, but if you are a regular you know that the coveted goods often go quickly. in other words, come asap!!!

included in this sale are lots of matt & nat bags, some hobo bags and wallets, product, tons and tons of cookbooks, kids books, baby clothes, cards, wrapping paper, etc…

as with all sales at o’suz, all “sale" sales are final.

also! bring your own bag(s), and for each bag saved we will donate 50 cents to the CASPCA. we are hoping this donation will really add up over time and that by august we will have a nice chunk of change to help our local critters.

hello again, friends! so...as many of you know, our winter sale started on wednesday, and you guys have been amazing! we love seeing you scoop up some deals, and holy moly, scoop you have! as a result, we are planning a soft reopening of our usual space (114 4th street) this thursday, february 11, so you can snag some valentine goodies to share with all those who are near and dear! 

as for the sale in our temporary space next door (formerly telegraph), we are choosing to keep it going but with more limited hours. here's our shop schedule for the coming week:

monday, february 8 -- all of o'suzannah CLOSED
tuesday, february 9 -- sale side open 10:00 - 2:00
wednesday, february 10 -- sale side open 10:00 - 2:00

winter sale scoop!

happy 2016, friends! we are so thankful for all of you who shopped with us in 2015, and we are excited to celebrate TWENTY YEARS of o'suzannah this year! 

we have some freshening up to do to get ready for our big birthday in march, and that means things are going to be a little different around here during the month of february. here's the skinny.

as longtime customers know, we usually have a big sale in january. this time around we're moving it to february, and it will be popping up in the space next door to our current space. our next-door neighbors at telegraph are moving down the mall, right next to mudhouse, so we are going to be using their old space for one of the biggest sales in o'suz history. not only will we have tons of books, accessories, candles, stationery, and kids' goodies, but we will also be cleaning house on some of our props and furniture to make way for some new pieces. so, mark your calendars:

wednesday, february 3 -- sale starts at 10:00 a.m. at 110 4th street n.e.

(o'suzannah is closed for set up sunday, january 31 - tuesday, february 2.)

a few things to note:

our regular space will close for the month of february while we get a fresh coat of paint, a new counter made by local woodworker david bohnhoff, and lots of new merch! don't worry, though, we will still have a juicy selection of cards and valentine's treats available! 

the sale will likely run through saturday, february 27, and once we are settled back in at our regular spot, we'll be letting you know about a little birthday surprise we have planned to celebrate 20 years of o'suzannah!

SALE on nikki mcclure framed prints!

we are in the process of reframing all the "floor samples" of our nikki mcclure prints, and that means we have A LOT of framed prints looking for new homes! the available prints are in black floating frames (as pictured above), and we only have one of each of the prints pictured below. these are available for $25 each or 2 for $40. (the frames originally cost $30, and the prints retail for $12.)  first come, first served!

the fine print: all of these are sold as-is, and they are final sale.

the winter sale is here!

wow, where did december go? we had a great holiday season, and we are so very thankful that so many of you chose o'suzannah for your gifts. we loved being in on some secrets, knowing what husbands and wives, sisters, mothers and daughters, and friends were wrapping up for each other. it's just the best!

but now that we're in the new year, it's time for the annual winter sale! gotta make room for all our fresh finds. let me tell you, friends, there is SO much goodness in this sale! here are the details:

winter sale starts wednesday, january 7 at 10:00 a.m.

don't worry if you can't make it in on wednesday; the sale will continue for a few weeks for sure.

at o'suzannah we love approaching things a bit differently each year. we like it to feel fresh, and "sales" are no exception to this rule. this year we have decided to have a soft entry into a bigger summer sale, and we are staging this little coup in one of our windows and calling it our "springtime windowsill sale."

here's how it will go down:
each week we will feature a new sale theme in our windowsill. the sale will begin this monday, may 19 (that's tomorrow!) and will include accessories of all kinds (jewelry, scarves, hobo, and more). the following monday, may 26, the theme of the window will change to home & product.

hey peeps! we got a new batch of the 2011 nikki mcclure calendar in the mail yesterday! we know some of you were sad to have missed out this year, so come get one while you can. oh, and even better, they're on sale!

we got a little crazy today and added lots of goodies to the sale!  we know there are some of you out there who will be thrilled to hear that all the crispina blankets are now marked down 50%.  crispina makes her throws from recycled sweaters up in the berskhires and has been going at it since 1987.  each blanket is one of a kind and super snuggly.  it may be hard to think about blankets in the middle of july, but this would be a great gift to sock away for a wedding or the winter holidays. these crispina blankets (and two pillows as well) are definitely a singular steal!!!
