round one!

the first time i met my husband's two sons, ben and nick fisher,
i think we were equally nervous and excited.
we bumbled through the initial meet and greet moments, got past the awkwardness, hung out and then said our goodbyes. i will never forget when todd
(their dad and my now husband) shouted out, "love and like you" as they left my house.
he still says it to them often, and it is no less touching to hear now.
don't forget those you love (and like).

here is round one of our favorite valentine's greetings, some tried and true, some brand new!

from la familia green:

anthology, issue six

issue six of anthology has arrived! the theme this time around is handmade at home, and there are great sneak peeks into the lives of designer alyson fox, stephen and shauna of something's hiding in here, and homesteader ashley english. this is one of the most inspiring issues so far, chock full of familiar faces and new names. we really can't get over the glass designs of pieke bergmans! snag one before they're gone!

always wanted to work at o'suzannah?

Our beloved and irreplaceable Aaron, who has put in nearly a decade at O’Suz, is leaving us to start a new journey as a mama!

We are looking for someone who wants to work between 35-40 hours a week, is available year-round, and plans on being in the Charlottesville area for the foreseeable future. Availability and willingness to work weekends is a must! Responsibilities include working with customers, handling weekday shipment, and maintaining the shop’s appearance. Experience with merchandising would be a plus! The position is paid hourly, and the rate depends on experience and flexibility. Benefits include a generous discount on merchandise, gaining experience in the day-to-day workings of a small business, and being surrounded by beautiful goods!
