we're so excited because the 2013 nikki mcclure calendar just arrived, and it is crazy good this time around! here's a little preview.

hello friends!

we are excited to let you know that we are reopening the original space friday, august 10 at 12:00! we've worked hard to reimagine the shop and have spent many days and nights squeezing, squishing, sprucing, and fluffing to make the old brand new. we're finally ready to open the doors! from now on, you'll find goodies for ALL ages in one place.

the sale is still going strong in the space next door (110 4th street n.e.) we've added some new merch since last wednesday -- come see for yourself! also, thanks to everyone who braved the crowds to shop on the first day of the sale. we were blown away by the response, and we were happy to see so many friendly faces scooping up some steals and deals!

p.s. many of you have asked how long the sale space will be open, and all we can say is we hope to have fabulous new neighbors soon. until then, the sale continues...look to hear from us when it's nearing the tail end.

has arrived!

super huge SHOP and SALE news!

are you a fan of o'suz? do you lie awake at night wondering what's next for us? well, if so, you will want to know that a fresh take on o'suzannah is just weeks away. after some serious thought, we have decided to let go of our additional space where our kids merch has been living these past spacious months. fear not though, we will continue to forge an original path, selling goods for all ages (just with less space). it'll be like old times but with a twist! change is the name of the game here at o'suz!

you might be wondering how, at this very moment, this affects you. let me tell you. we are going to have, hands down, the most insane sale in the history of o'suz! yes, that's right. we will be selling some of our coveted fixtures, merch we still love but can't squeeze into the original space, last ofs, summery things, rugs and lamps we can no longer do justice to, and so on. we will do our best to post a few previews as we prepare! (fyi, for those of you who have scored tons of gifties at our previous 2-4-1 parties, this means our november event will be pared down a bit, so come get the goods now!)

the details are as follows:
the whole store will be closed this monday and tuesday,  july 30th and 31st.
the  expansion space/kids side will re-open wednesday,  august 1st, chock full of sale things you want and need!
the original space will be closed until further notice. perhaps open by the weekend, but we just aren't certain of the timeline yet, lots of smooshing to do and you know how we like it to all be purrrty!

thanks for sticking with us during this transition -- we're excited to reimagine and reinvent the space that so many of you refer to as your happy place!

new from fawnsberg

we have admired patricia mumau's beautiful script for some time, so we were so excited when she and her sister rachel created fawnsberg, a beautiful stationery line that both reminds me of the neatly composed letters my grandmother used to send and makes me want to write everyone i know a letter! we've got several letter sets that come with 12 printed sheets, 24 plain sheets, a line guide for neat penmanship, and 12 tissue-lined french envelopes. and they come in a super cute box to boot!

the sisters mumau also recently introduced some single and boxed cards that have been a big hit here in the shop.

and holy moly, are the fawnsberg rubber stamps amazing!

all Pyrrha talisman necklaces are cast in reclaimed sterling silver from 19th century wax seals. each of these symbolic necklaces feature insignia rich with meaning culled from heraldry and are handcrafted in their studio in vancouver, canada.

mincing mockingbird is back!

we love artist matt adrian's bird paintings, and we're excited to have a new batch of mincing mockingbird panels in the shop! matt has refined his process so that now all the works are printed on archival paper with a 75+ year rating. the paper is then firmly adhered to a sustainable bamboo block and ready for hanging! here are some of our new favorites:

we also snagged several copies of the mincing mockingbird's guide to troubled birds, which showcases matt's paintings and very dry humor. not for the faint of heart!

new goods from out of print

we're excited to welcome out of print to the shop! out of print works closely with publishers and artists to license images from your favorite books. they feel strongly about the importance of books in this digital age, and for each product sold, out of print donates a book through books for africa.
